We've sat on the beach wondering why booking a sunbed was so hard.
Albania's coast was booming. Twelve million tourists in 2025. Beaches packed. Yet the entire experience — for tourists and operators alike — was still running on handshakes and paper.
"We kept asking: why can you book a flight in 30 seconds but you have to physically walk the beach at 8am to claim a sunbed? That gap was the product.
SunEasy started as an answer to that question. We set out to build a single platform that works for everyone: tourists who want a seamless day at the beach, and businesses that deserve modern tools to run and grow their operations.

Three years of building — and we're just getting started.
The Question That Started It All
The SunEasy concept was born from a simple observation: Albania's beach tourism was booming, yet there was no digital infrastructure to support it. We began UX research, speaking to beach operators in Sarandë, Ksamil, and Durrës to understand the real operational pain points.
Platform Launch & Municipal Pilots
The SunEasy business platform and client app were built, tested, and presented to key municipalities including Himarë, Ksamil, and Durrës. We introduced the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for managing public beaches through digital infrastructure — a first for Albania.
Ecosystem Maturity & Regional Preparation
Finalization of pricing models, operator dashboards, and the full client journey. The mobile app ecosystem reached a mature, production-ready state. We expanded partnerships and began laying the groundwork for regional expansion across the Balkans and Mediterranean.
Scale — The Mediterranean Awaits
With Albania welcoming 12.5 million tourists in 2025 and €5.7 billion in tourist spending, the opportunity is clear. SunEasy's next phase is bringing its coastal management platform to Montenegro, Greece, and Croatia — markets where the infrastructure gap is just as large.
